How to choose
- No-app upload is the single biggest factor. Every step between the table and the upload button loses guests. Services that open in the browser from a QR code get far more participation than ones that send guests to an app store.
- Check the storage window against your own timeline. A 7-day or 30-day window is fine if you will download everything the week after. If you want the gallery live through the honeymoon, thank-you cards and the first anniversary, look for 6 to 12 months and note whether the clock starts at purchase or at the event date.
- Decide how much control you want. Some couples are happy with an open feed. Others, and many families hosting a quinceañera or a party with children, want nothing shown until a host has looked at it. Moderation is a paid add-on at several services and included on all plans at a few.
